Paris Summer Olympics / Chicago DNC

Plainly put, the Ladies of the Cha Cha were invited to visit Paris during the Summer Olympics, and I decided to go along. You can take a girl to Paris, but don’t expect her to leave.

From Paris the Ladies went on to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Their brashness earned them more than a few shut-ups at the DNC. They protested, worked the conventioneers, ate, balled it and nailed it—they always do.

“Let me tell you something. I’m from Chicago. I don’t break.”
